North Shropshire Homecare Guest Post Guidelines

Our Goal: To provide the residents of Whitchurch, Wem, and North Shropshire with accurate, empathetic, and expert advice that supports independent living.

1. Who Can Contribute?

We only accept guest contributions from individuals or organizations with a direct connection to health, social care, or the North Shropshire community. This includes:

  • Registered health professionals (GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physios).

  • Local community group leaders and charity advocates.

  • Family caregivers with "lived experience" (must be willing to share an anonymized, real-life story).

  • We do not accept posts from generic SEO agencies or non-health-related businesses.

2. Content Requirements (The 2026 Standard)

  • Word Count: 600 – 1,000 words.

  • Accuracy: Any medical or legal claims must be backed by a link to a credible source (e.g., NHS, CQC, or UK Gov websites).

  • Originality: Content must be unique and not published elsewhere.

  • Local Focus: We strongly prefer posts that mention specific local resources, geography, or services available in North Shropshire.

3. Privacy & Ethics

  • Confidentiality: Do not use real names of clients or patients without explicit written consent. We recommend changing names and identifying details.

  • No Medical Advice: Posts should be informative, not diagnostic. Every post must include a disclaimer that readers should consult their own doctor for medical concerns.

4. What’s in it for you?

  • Author Bio: You will receive a short bio (50 words) at the bottom of the post.

  • Backlinks: You may include one link to your professional website or local community page, provided it is relevant and helpful to the reader.

  • Promotion: We will share your post across our social media channels and local networks.

5. How to Pitch

Please do not send a full article immediately. Email us with:

  1. Your Credentials: Who are you and why are you an expert on this topic?

  2. 3 Topic Ideas: A title and two-sentence summary for each.

  3. A Link: To a previous piece of writing (if available).

Thank you.
