What our clients say about us

At North Shropshire Homecare, we believe that the true measure of our service isn't found in a brochure or a care plan—it is found in the lived experiences of our neighbours.

The relationship between a carer and a client is built on a foundation of trust, dignity, and shared history. Whether it’s a morning visit in Wem, a companionship session in Whitchurch, or complex support in Prees, our goal is always the same: to provide the kind of care we would want for our own families.

Below, you will find a collection of honest reflections from the people we support and their loved ones. These stories represent the "heart" of our work and provide a window into the daily impact of professional, compassionate homecare.

I would like to compliment you on having outstanding and efficient team caring for me. Your carers are always punctual efficient, respectful and kind. May I take this opportunity to thank you for an amazing team, and for their efficacy.

Who are the CQC?

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Their job is to make sure that hospitals, care homes, and homecare providers (like North Shropshire Homecare) provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, and high-quality care.

They perform unannounced inspections and speak directly to staff, clients, and families to get an honest picture of how a service is run.

Risks to people were assessed and minimised through the effective use of risk assessments to support
people to receive their personal care safely.

Staff told us they knew what they were doing so the equipment was used safely. The registered manager told us that before any new piece of equipment was used that a health professional introduced it to the staff who would be using it.
